Time Champ User Guide

Time Tracker

    • Firstly, the time spent on the computer categorized as Productive, Non-Productive Time and Neutral Time.
    • Productive Time : The amount of time spent on productive apps and websites during working hours.
    • Non-Productive Time : The amount of time spent on non-productive apps and websites during working hours.
    • Neutral Time : The amount of time spent on uncategorized apps and websites during working hours.
    • Away Time : The amount of time in which user was offline and idle during working hours.
    • Displays significant and neccesary summary of the user's tracked data i.e.; Working time, Productive time and Non-Productive time etc.
    • Top 5 Websites & Applications : The basic information about most visited sites and apps are shown in the form of piechart.
    • Productive Activity : The total worked time and the tracked Productive, Non-Productive and Neutral time of the user will be depicted in the form of both bargraph and pie charts.
    • Work-Life Balance : The comparison of expected work hours and actual work hours will be illustrated in bargraphs and can see the total worked hours just by hovering the mouse pointer on it.
    • Here, Expected work hours reflects the minimum requirement of work hours for an employee as per the commitment of the respective company or organization.
    • Actual work hours reflects the total actual worked hours in a single working day by an employee.
    • The attendance bar describes the total Desktime and interval breaks by an employee.
    • The green color in the bar describes the working period of an employee.
    • The yellow color in the bar describes the idle time taken by an employee.
    • The gray color in the bar describes the untracked time which will be categorized as non-working time.
    • The orange color in the bar describes the part of time that was requested for approval and also breaks and intervals taken by the employee.
    • If the user is absent or the desktop is not assigned, it will be automatically updated and displayed in place of attendance bar.
    • If you select the company, the attendance bar of different users will be display in the 'Day' view.
    • If you select any user of the company, the detailed attendance bar will displayed in 'Week' and 'Month' views.
    • Day View : You can select it by clicking on the 'Day' option.
    • Week View : You can select it by clicking on the 'Week' option.
    • Month View : You can select it by clicking on the 'Month' option.
    • By click on any part of the bar displays a magnified attendance bar with other significant options like Overview, Productive, Non-productive, Neutral, Idle, Events, Screenshots and Activity.
    • When you hover or click next on any of the column, a dropdown with optional columns get displayed in which we can select the required columns.
    • Clicking the 'up arrow' or the 'down arrow' ascends and descends the order of the users.
    • Next, the list of detailed description of time periods where an employee can able to edit the categorized time and can get the approval by the higher hierarchy employees or administrators.
    • Exports : Here, you can download the report of user's attendance while customizing the needed columns.
    • Reload : Reloads and refreshes the data in the attendance tab.
    • Fullscreen : Here, you can view the page in the size of your device screen.
    • You can have any number of records per page by setting up the number in the pagination form field which is at the bottom of the page.
    • The total Working time, Productive time, Non-Productive time and Neutral time will be displayed adjacently.
    • The total Productive time, Non-Productive time and Neutral time will be depicted in a line graph.
    • The Applications and URLs you have been working on, along with the amount of time you spent on each, are all shown here.
    • Next, all the users and their productive bars, in which the data about Productive, Non-Productive, Neutral and Idle time spent on the particular day, displayed here.
    • Green : Productive time
    • Red : Non-Productive time
    • Blue : Neutral time
    • Yellow : Idle time
    • Download : You can even download the report of user's productive details.
    • Productive Bars : Demonstrates the computer time spent subdivided into 5-minute chunks and classified as Productive, Non-Productive and Neutral.
    • Intensity Graph : Displays total data about mouse clicks and keystroke frequency based on time intervals, represented in the form of graphs. and You can view the data of mouse clicks and keystrokes, just by hovering the mouse pointer on the graph.
    • The next section includes sub individual tabs i.e., Screenshots, Screen Recordings, Activity.
    • Screenshots : Displays the screenshots of the employee monitor screen which were taken based on time frequency set by the higher hierarchy.
    • Screen Recordings : Displays the screen recordings of employees which were recorded by the higher hierarchy.
    • Activity : Gives the detailed information about the user's activity from the tracked hours data.
    • You can also see the mouse clicks and keystrokes parallelly with the screenshots by selected the required part in the area graph.
    • Download : You can download screenshots by selecting the needed time period.
    • Reload : Reloads and refreshes the data in the tab.
    • Fullscreen : Here, you can view the page in the size of your device screen.
    • This section comes up with information consists of classified tracked data i.e., Websites Visited, Applications Used, By Categories and Activity.
    • Parallelly right to these, a dropdown is provided with categories of time (Productive, Non-Productive and Neutral).
    • By selecting one among these options, you can scrutinize the particular URLs and apps with duration.
    • By clicking on individual application or website, a detailed information with website URLs and time spent on each page will be displayed.
    • Search Filter : You can search any application or websites in the user's activity.
    • Exports : Here, you can download the report of user's attendance while customizing the needed columns.
    • Reload : Reloads and refreshes the data in the tab.
    • Fullscreen : Here, you can view the page in the size of your device screen.
    • Here, you get the time approval request from your employees and you can approve or reject the time claimed by your employee.
    • Filter : You can filter the total data in this tab by all the columns.
    • Reload : Reloads and refreshes the data in the tab.
    • Fullscreen : Here, you can view the page in the size of your device screen.

Users

  • See all your users Id, Name, Username, Role, Manager(Reporting), Teams(belong to), Desktop, Desktop Username and Desktop Version.
  • See everyone who's online, Green circle represents - online, Red - Offline beside Name.
  • You can edit using Edit Button:
  • User Profile - Personal Details, Admin Groups, Mark member attendance using tracking data and Block for sign in.
  • User Configuration - Enable Tracking, Time Tracker type, Screenshots, Timesheet Approval Configuration and Notifications.
  • Working Hours - Working Hours, Tracking Hours, Exceptions and Fixed Breaks.
  • Holidays - You can add a new holiday in the year.
  • Recording Schedules:
  • By selecting 'Add Schedule', you can schedule a screen recording session of an employee screen.
  • The already scheduled screen recording schedules are editable or erasable.
  • Action Button :
  • Reset Password - You can reset password.
  • Force Logout - Log out directly.
  • Agents - Windows [Interactive, Silent], Mac.
  • While Hovering Name - You can able to see the Profile, Contact details, Navigations and Reporting.
  • User Management :
  • Search - You can search/filter the user you wanted.
  • Download Agent - Download company level tracker setup [ Windows, Mac, Linux and others.]
  • Add User - To add single/ multiple users.
  • Upload User - To Upload a file with users details into the site.
  • Download User - To download users details in a file format from the site.
  • Advanced Search - You can filter the User according to the category[Active, Inactive and Both].
  • Reset - Reset all the data.

Desktops

    • See all your unassigned desktop - Desktop Name, Desktop Username, Detected On, TimeChamp Version and Last Active On.
    • See everyone who's online, Green circle represents - online, Red - Offline beside Name.
    • Actions Button:
    • Assign Desktop - To assign desktop to a selected user.
    • Archive - To archive the record.
    • Uninstall - To Uninstall the tracker in respective desktop.
    • While Hovering Desktop - You can able to see the Desktop username, Desktop detected and status.
    • List View - You can view the data in list view.
    • Grid View - To View the data in a Grid View.
    • Search - To Search/Filter the desktop you need.
    • Archived Button - To show all archived desktops / active desktops.
    • Refresh - To refresh the site.
    • See all your assigned desktop - Desktop Name, Desktop Username, Detected On, Assigned to, TimeChamp Version and Last Active On.
    • See everyone who's online, Green circle represents - online, Red - Offline beside Name.
    • Actions Button:
    • Unassign Desktop - To unassign desktop to a selected user.
    • Archive - To archive the record.
    • Uninstall - To uninstall the tracker in respective desktop.
    • System Information - You can collect system working information here.
    • While Hovering Desktop - You can able to see the Desktop username, Desktop detected and status.
    • While Hovering User - You can able to see the Profile, Contact details, Navigations and Reporting.
    • List View - You can view the data in list view.
    • Grid View - To View the data in a Grid View.
    • Search - To search/filter the desktop you need.
    • Archived Button - To show all archived desktops / active desktops.
    • Refresh - To refresh the site.

Leaves

    • Here you can see all of the leaves that your team members have applied.
    • By searching with a name, you can see the leaves of that individual.
    • Refresh : Refresh the tab.
    • By just clicking on the specific date cell in this instance, you can apply for a leave of absence for one or more days.
    • There is a choice to apply short leaves as well.
    • As an admin, you can submit a leave request on behalf of the team members.
    • You can also edit your previously applied leave by clicking on it.
    • This tab can have two views : Calendar view and Tabular view, which you can switch between by selecting the calendar and list icons.
    • Search Bar : You can get a user's leaves simply by searching for his name.
    • You can view the leave requests submitted by your team members here and can approve or reject them.
    • By selecting the filter icon, you can filter the leaves by name, status, date, and so on.
    • Leave Session : You can create your own leave sessions, such as full days or half days.
    • Can edit the already created leave sessions.
    • Search : Searching leave sessions by name.
    • Leave Status : Similarly, you can create your own leave status such as approved and rejected.
    • Can edit the already created Leave status.
    • Search : Searching a leave status by name.
    • Leave Types : Similarly, You can create your own leave status such as approved, rejected.
    • You can edit or archive the already created leave types.
    • By clicking on toggle button, you will see all archived leave types
    • Search : Searching leave types by name.
    • Leave Rules : You can create your own leave policies that are completely configurable.
    • Additional Leaves : You can add additional leaves for a particular individual and can edit the previously alloted leaves.
    • Restriction Types : You can add new restriction types such as Limited leaves per period.
    • You can edit or archive the already created restriction types.
    • By clicking on toggle button, You will see all archived restriction types
    • Search : Searching restriction types by name.

Teams

  • Here, the details about the existing teams i.e; team name, joined date, size of the team etc.
  • You can add a new team of your choice by clicking on 'Add Team'.
  • If you click on the toggle button, you will be redirected to page with archived teams.
  • In the actions column, you can edit the following categories of a team by clicking on the Edit icon.
  • Team Details : You can add a new member to the team and can have the details of all the members in the team.
  • You can delete any member in the team by using delete icon.
  • You can archive a team by selecting the archive icon.
  • Team Configuration : You can enable or disable tracking for the team.
  • You can select the time tracker type i.e; interactive or silent and other features like idle time period.
  • You can set the screenshot frequency and other features like live stream, screenshot quality and screenshot delete option for members.
  • You can manage time sheet approval configuration and notifications.
  • Working Hours : You can configure working hours, tracking hours, fixed breaks and exceptional hours.
  • Holidays : Here, you can add new holidays and can Edit and delete the existing holidays.
  • Recording Schedules : You can schedule screen recording and can edit or delete the existing schedule.
  • Productive Apps & Websites : You can have the detailed information of the apps and websites visited by your team members and you can categorize them based on the requirement.

Settings

    • You can enable or disable tracking for the team and can enable or disable autotracking during day.
    • You can select the time tracker type i.e; interactive or silent and other features like idle time period.
    • You can set the screenshot frequency and other features like live stream, screenshot quality and screenshot delete option for members.
    • You can manage time sheet approval configuration and notifications.
    • You can manage different permissions.
    • Here you can configure your storage options.
    • You can change the storage by selecting the options provided in the dropdown
    • Your working days can be configured and customised, and you can specify the minimum number of hours of work required to classify a day as a working day.
    • You have the option to specify the time period in a day for which monitoring will be enabled as well as the days of the week.
    • You have the option of setting a fixed break for a day or a week.
    • You can choose to set particular dates as working days or as non-working days.
    • By choosing 'create a new group' for each section on this tab, you can make different combinations of working hours and days.
    • You can add a new holiday in the year in this section.
    • Additionally, you can modify or eliminate the current holiday.
    • In this section, you will see all the information regarding trail and licence subscription details.
    • The screen recording will be enabled if you click on the toggle button.
    • By selecting 'Add Schedule', you can schedule a screen recording session of an employee screen.
    • The already scheduled screen recording schedules are editable or erasable.
    • For a new website or app, you can add a new rule and choose whether it falls under the productive or unproductive category.
    • By choosing the filter icon, you can filter each of these categories.
    • You can get information on different websites and apps, including details about the categories they fall under and how much time has been spent on each one.
